Campsite Ardèche offers plenty of space and excellent facilities for both adults and children. At the camping’s entrance, you find the reception, the restaurant, the snack bar and a cosy lounge. Bread, pizza and meals can be collected within the nearby area. And only 100 metres from the campsite, there is a supermarket, a pharmacy and a baker. Along the campsite, there is a small river where children can play safely. Just imagine your kids paddling in the water with a spoon-net having super fun! During your stay, the campsite’s reception is always at your service with advice and tips. And in the high season, each Sunday, the camping owner announces the activities planned for the coming week.
During your holidays at the Ardèche Campsite, you joyfully reside in one of the four Villatent Wood tents, which are suitable for five persons. The tents are located a small distance above the ground and can be accessed via a broad staircase. They are placed in a row (84, 85, 88 and 89), with sufficient space in front of them to let your children play, park your car, and keep a side tent, if necessary. The sanitary facilities are close by, and also the swimming pool, the restaurant, and the bar are at walking distance.
The Ardèche Campsite has a large swimming park with a heated outdoor pool of 166 m², which is 1.5 m deep at the lowest point. In addition, there is a heated indoor pool with a maximum water temperature of 27 degrees, a heated paddling pool of 100 m² where games are organised for children from 2 up to 10 years, and a double water slide. The swimming park is opened daily from 10:00 to 20:00 hours. Only tight swimming trunks are allowed here, no shorts.
In the high season, a French, a Dutch and an English entertainment team are present. And from Monday up to and including Saturday, there is a kids club for the very young. In the afternoons, sports activities are organised. And every morning, you can follow aqua gymnastic classes. In the evenings, event are organised regularly for adults, such as magic shows, concerts, karaoke, and bingo, while the children can enjoy themselves in the mini disco.
And if you thought that during the lower seasons there is not much to do at this campsite or in the region, we are happy to tell you that you are wrong! There is always something going on here; what about a hiking expedition through the area or a visit to a typical French market in Privas? Moreover, each week, two tastings are organised: a tasting of bio-wines from the local region at the Domaine des Accoles (at walking distance from the campsite) and a tasting of candied chestnuts at the Clément Faugier ….. You see, even outside the high season you will have a wonderful time at the Ardèche.
