Charming campsite in the heart of the Alsace-Lorraine

In the heart of the Alsace-Lorraine, you find Campsite Au Clos de la Chaume. This charming camping facility is situated at the periphery of the small town of Corcieux, which is only 10 minutes from lake Gérard. Here, you can do water sports or relax along the lake side. Our Villatents are closely gathered on an open field at the edge of the wood and a small brook. This scenically situated field is a wonderful place for children to play. And while your kids are having fun, you can enjoy a nice glass of wine at the terrace of your luxurious Villatent. And do you want to discover the Vosges? Then Au Clos de la Chaume is the place to be.

Campsite Au Clos de la Chaume is a small-scale and very charming camping facility, situated about  500 metres from the village of Corcieux. Here, there are lots of facilities, such as restaurants, snack bars and shops. During the high season, the campsite’s reception offers fresh buns, ice cream and some basic necessities. And if you want to go out or a meal, this is possible in the village of Corcieux, or you can drop by at the small pizza delivery that is open two days in the week.

Villatents at campsite Au Clos de la Chaume

During your vacation, you reside in a Villatent Wood that can accommodate a maximum of five persons. The tents are placed on a scenically situated and spacious Villatent field, where the children can play comfortably within your eyesight. Here you have all the privacy you need, and there is plenty of space around the tent to park your car. The sanitary building, which offers all (basic) facilities you need, is located at a short walking distance.

Swimming or building mini dams?

Campsite Au Clos de la Chaume has an indoor swimming pool with an average temperature of 26 degrees. The pool is open daily from 10:00 to 19:00 hours. And if you prefer to just paddle about, build mini dams in the sand, or take your children out for a boat race, you can go to the brook that runs straight through the camping area.

Lake Gérard

The campsite is situated only 10 minutes from lake Gérard, the largest lake in the Vosges. The lake is perfect for water sports, such as sailing, canoeing and kayaking, and surrounded by mountains and woods. Here, you can organise hiking expeditions, conquer the hills on your mountain bike, cycle on the more regular paths, paraglide, climb or ride a horse. And those who are less fond of all this excitement, can of course fully enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the area’s flora and fauna.

Activities and entertainment

In the high season, there is a mini club at the campsite for the youngest ones. This club organises activities in the vicinity, such as building squirrel houses in the wood near the campsite. There is also a playground with a slide and a swing, a sand pit, a volleyball field, a Jeu de boules field, and a special game room for the older children. There are activities for children of all ages, such as archery and the well-known nature walk in the company of a mountain guide, which is a great event for the whole family.
