Château de l’Epervière

Beautiful 5-star castle campsite in Southern Burgundy

Château de l’Epervière is a scenic castle campground, built around a 16th century castle in the south of Burgundy in France. The campsite is centrally located between Beaune and Mâcon. In this region, you find vast vineyards, picturesque villages, and historic towns. The campsite is set up in two sections around a pond of 1.5 hectares. Our Villatents are positioned in a beautiful and spacious area between the castle and the pond.

This five-star campsite provides all the facilities you need. There is a restaurant, a wine cellar, a heated paddle pool, an outdoor and an indoor (small) swimming pool, a shop, and a cosy bar. In the restaurant, you can enjoy a typical Burgundian evening with French dishes, such as escargots or Boeuf Bourguignon. Accompanied by a suitable wine, you will have a real Burgundian experience!

Do you like fishing? Then this campsite is ideal for you. In the campsite’s big pond, you can catch, for example, carps, perches, and roaches. This campsite is particularly suitable for families with children of about 12 years of age and younger, and for people who are looking for peace and space, but also for service and comfort. Wifi is available at the bar and free of charge, but do not expect a high speed!

Villatents at Château de l’Epervière

The campsite has eight fully decorated luxurious Villatent Wood (without sanitary facilities) that can accommodate a maximum of five persons. In a small and homely street, the tents are gathered together on beautiful large spaces (VL1 to VL8 on the map). The street is a cul-de-sac, so the children can play undisturbed without cars passing. Behind your tent, you have a beautiful view on the castle. And because the tents are positioned near the campsite’s entrance, you are close to the pool, the sanitary building, and the main building with the restaurant and the reception.

Swimming pool

Château de l’Epervière has an outdoor pool, a paddle pool with playing equipment, and a small indoor pool. All pools are heated, so the water has always a pleasant temperature. In search of more water fun? At about 7 kilometres from the campsite, there is a large outdoor pool. The reception will be happy to provide you with more details.

Entertainment and activities

During the high season, sports and game activities are organised for children. Furthermore, six times a week, there is a kids’ club, where the younger ones can have fun playing and doing crafts.
