Le Petit Trianon

Four-star campsite on the grounds of an eighteenth-century castle

Le Petit Trianon is a four-star campsite, located on the vast grounds of an eighteenth-century castle. The campsite is situated in a scenic landscape on the border of Poitou-Charentes and Pays-de-la-Loire in the village of Saint-Ustre. In this region, there are many castles that can be visited. Peace, space and comfort characterise Le Petit Trianon! The castle is surrounded by a large campsite area in which the tents or caravans look out on the valley or on the children’s playground.

Upon your arrival at the campsite, you first enter the reception. Opposite the reception there is a large castle garden where sports lovers can fully indulge in playing volleyball, mini golf, table tennis, or badminton. Children can play on the bouncy cushion and at the playing ground. They can also go to the recreation room to watch television and play games. The campsite has a (snack) bar where you can collect carry-out meals. Furthermore, there is a small grocery store that sells some basic necessities, and the reception offers fresh buns on a daily basis. You can do your shopping three kilometres away in Ingrandes or at one of the weekly markets in the vicinity.

Villatents at Le Petit Trianon

Campsite Le Petit Trianon has six Villatent Nomad. The tents, which have numbers 65, 66 and 67 on the map, are situated at sunny spots with a view on the valley. The tents with numbers 81, 82 and 83 have more shade and look out on the playground, where the children can enjoy themselves for hours.

Swimming fun

There is a heated swimming pool at the campsite. It is not very large and quite shallow, which is ideal for children and convenient for parents. The very young can amuse themselves in the small paddle pool. All around the swimming pool, there are sufficient lounge beds and parasols, so while the children are playing, you can enjoy the sun.

Activities and entertainment

Le Petit Trianon is a homely family campsite. The park is entirely fenced and ideal for children. In July and August, there is a mini club from Monday until and including Friday for children from 4 to 12. Lots of outdoor activities are organised, such as scouting expeditions, but also indoor events, for example doing crafts and painting.

Tip! We recommend a visit to the Futuroscope attraction park, as well as a trip to the caves of Norée. Futuroscope, which has more than dan 25 amusement items, is 60 hectares big. Or do you prefer some adventure? Then the Aven’Thure adventure park is a must.
