Do you like relaxation or more action? Recreation park de Lucht has it all to offer! At this cozy recreation park you can completely relax and enjoy the free time. The recreation park is uniquely located on the Grebbelinie between the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park and the Hoge Veluwe National Park. In addition to cycling pleasure, there is plenty to see and do on this route for young and old. There is a fishing pond located at the recreation park, an indoor swimming pool (with a retractable roof, so that this swimming pool functions as an outdoor swimming pool in good weather). In addition, it has enough facilities for the children, such as a water playground!

The whole family will have endless fun at Recreation Park de Lucht. From swimming and building sand castles to cycling, walking or playing tennis. There are plenty of play areas, in the playground, in the forest, with the entertainment program and with the animals. In high season and on public holidays there is an extensive and entertaining animation program for children up to 12 years old.

Villatents at Recreation Park De Lucht

From the 2021 season, Recreation Park De Lucht will house brand new Villatent Nomad tents, which are fully equipped for a maximum of six people. The tents all have air conditioning and heating.

The tents are cozy together on their own (car-free) field. This camping field is near the fishing pond, the water playground and the (educational) forest. Wonderful places to enjoy yourself for young and old. Parking is a short walk from the tents.

Dogs allowed at Recreation Park De Lucht

You can safely take your dog on vacation. Your dog is very welcome on the camping field and in our Villatents. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed per pitch. Pay close attention to the dog-free part of the site; dogs are not allowed here. So keep in mind that the dog cannot go to the swimming pool, the camping shop and the catering industry. The dog is allowed to run free at the dog exercise areas.

Suitable for children up to 14 years old

Recreation park de Lucht is perfect for a pleasant and carefree holiday for the whole family. Especially for children up to and including 14 years, there is plenty to do on this campsite and in the area. Think of swimming, cycling, canoeing, paintball and a climbing forest. The park also has a playground for children with swings, climbing and play equipment, a large sandbox and an air trampoline. You can keep yourself in shape by training regularly on the fitness equipment or hitting a ball on the tennis court. In collaboration with IVN Veenendaal, an educational forest has been developed at De Lucht recreation park. Fun and educational activities will be organized in the forest for young and old. The possibilities are endless!

Looking for water fun? Then take a dip at Swimming Pool 't Willaer. The pool has three large heated pools with a slide and two diving boards. In addition to swimming, you can also use the playground and various fields for ball games.

Are you more of a natural water lover? At a 20-minute drive you will find the Henschotermeer, a large recreational lake for young and old. This lake is located in a natural location in the woods of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. In addition to swimming, building sand castles or floating, you can also take a lovely walk around this beautiful lake.
