Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to frequently asked questions

In the sections below you will find answers to frequently asked questions. Is your answer not listed? Then use the search function in the main menu or contact us.

1. What is the maximum number of people allowed in a Villatent?

Our Villatent Wood and Villatent Outback tents are equipped for up to five people, while the Villatent Nomad, Villatent Cottage and Villatent Ranger are equipped for up to six people.

2. Can I add more towels

No, it is not possible to add more towels to your reservation. It is best to bring towels from home. At some campsites you can rent towels through the campsite itself. Contact the campsite for the possibilities.

3. What is included in the bed linen package

The bed linen package consists of a pillowcase, fitted sheet and duvet cover. However, it is not common in every country and region to use a duvet cover. So you may find that at a campsite - for example, in Italy - you get two sheets (one for under the duvet and one for on top) instead of a duvet cover.

4. What does the bed linen package cost?

You can book a bed linen package for €15 per person.

5. What are the dimensions of the beds?

The mattresses in our beds are at least 80 centimetres wide. In tents with sanitary facilities, it is 90 centimetres. All beds are 2 metres long. In the double bed there are two separate mattresses.

6. If you stay longer than a week, will the bed linen be changed?

No, bed linen will not be changed during your stay. However, it is possible to wash the bed linen yourself in the campsite launderette.

7. What is included in the baby package

The baby kit consists of a high chair (the familiar plastic Ikea high chairs) and a camp bed. The camping cot comes with a mattress. No bed linen is available for the cot, so please bring this yourself from home.

8. What does the baby package cost?

You rent a baby package for €25 per stay and this package can only be ordered for the entire holiday period.

9. What should I bring to the tent?

It is handy to bring your own (bath) towels, tea towels and kitchen towels. You can read more tips on what you should definitely bring on a glamping holiday in this blog.

10. Is there electricity in the tent?

Yes, electricity and lighting are available in our tents.

11. Are the tents resistant to precipitation?

Yes, the roofs of our Villa tents are resistant to precipitation. And thanks to the wooden floor, you will not be bothered by rising damp. In short, in your Villatent you will be safe and dry! On the covered terrace you can also sit outside during a rainstorm.

12. What inventory is in my Villatent?

15. Can I bring my dog?

If you go glamping with your family, of course you prefer to take your four-legged friend with you! Your dog is welcome in our Villatents and on most campsites. You pay €40 extra per stay for this. The remaining payment must be made no later than six weeks before the holiday. Are you leaving within six weeks of booking? Then we ask you to pay the total travel sum within eight days.

24. What about tourist tax?

To stay at our campsites, you pay tourist tax (also known as local charges, park charges or recreation tax). At most campsites, these costs are not included in the travel sum and must be paid locally. You pay per person per night and the cost may vary per campsite/municipality. Check the site of the relevant campsite for rates.
