Camping La Presqu’île is beautifully situated by Lake Serre-Ponçon in the Hautes-Alpes. Situated on a peninsula, this campsite offers an oasis of tranquillity for families who enjoy sports, hiking and nature. This small-scale four-star campsite features an extensive 300 m² swimming complex, comprising an outdoor pool and a paddling pool, as well as a private beach of nearly 3,000 m² reserved exclusively for guests. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings with direct access to the water whilst making the most of luxury facilities such as a multi-sports court and a lively kids’ club that guarantees fun and entertainment. In addition, the entertainment team organises enjoyable activities and events during the peak season, ensuring there’s always something going on. The campsite has a restaurant right by the water, where you can enjoy stunning views of Lake Serre-Ponçon and the surrounding mountains from the terrace. Feeling adventurous? Temporary measures for the 2026 season
Camping Sunêlia La Presqu’île is open as usual and you can enjoy your holiday to the full here. Due to the dry weather conditions, additional precautionary measures are temporarily in place in the region to reduce the risk of forest fires. As such, barbecues, fire pits and any devices that produce flames are not permitted, and guests are asked to take extra care with cigarettes.

Camping La Presqu’île is ideally located in the stunning Écrins National Park, on the shores of the impressive Lac de Serre-Ponçon in the Hautes-Alpes. This perfect location offers families a great base to explore the natural beauty and cultural richness of the region.
Chorges is just 10 kilometers away, Savines-le-Lac is 15 kilometers, and Embrun is 20 kilometers from Camping La Presqu’île. In these charming villages, you can enjoy various restaurants, shops, and terraces where you can taste local delicacies. You can also find daily groceries here.
During the summer months, you can participate in mountain hikes and bike rides along the lake. Explore mountain peaks up to 4,000 meters and admire impressive glaciers such as Glacier Blanc and Glacier de la Girose. For history enthusiasts, the historic Route Napoléon is a must-see. Visit the city of Gap, 25 kilometers away, where you can admire the beautiful Cathédrale Notre-Dame-et-St-Arnoux and the interesting Musée Départemental. Additionally, there are unique sights such as the submerged villages around Lac de Serre-Ponçon. On a small island, you will find a chapel, the only remaining piece of the once-existing villages that are now underwater.

If you arrive later than expected, an envelope with the guest’s name will be ready at the reception, near the reception door. The envelope contains a map of the campsite and directions to the Villatent accommodation. The following morning, we kindly ask you to visit the reception to complete the registration.
At Camping La Presqu'île, you can check in from 16:00. On the day of departure, you must check out before 10:00.

Camping La Presqu'île is located in Prunières, in the beautiful Hautes-Alpes region of France. The campsite is easily accessible by car, and the route offers breathtaking views of the mountains and valleys of the Alps.
The campsite is near the N94, an important route that winds through the picturesque landscape and provides direct access to the larger roads in the region. From Utrecht, it is approximately 1,100 km to drive, with a travel time of about 11 hours, depending on the route and traffic.
