Beautiful five-star campsite in the Loire valley

Les Bois du Bardelet is a beautiful five-star campsite in the French Loire valley. The campsite is situated in the midst of woods, lakes, and vineyards. The region is full of history, and its multiple breath-taking castles and traditional villages are just waiting for you to explore. Lovers of ancient buildings and castles are highly recommended to visit Saint Brisson, Gien or Sully-sur-Loire! Les Bois du Bardelet is a real family campsite, where there is lots to do for both young and old. Water fans can have a wonderful time in the outdoor pool with slides, at the water playground or in the indoor pool.

The quality of the campsite’s facilities is certainly worthy of five stars; all facilities are perfectly kept and taken care of. The staff at the reception is always happy to assist you with personal advice. The shop is small, but you can get buns and basic groceries here every day. You will find everything you need at this campsite: a tennis court, a sports field, a recreation room and a wellness space. Fishing fans can go to the fishing pond, and for a nice dinner you can visit the restaurant. Wifi is available throughout the entire campsite area upon payment of a fee.

Villatents at Les Bois du Bardelet

Campsite Les Bois du Bardelet has four Villatent Nomad tents. The tents have plenty of space around them and are clustered in a scenic area. The map indicates the precise location of the tents. (E10, E11, E12 and F20)

Water park

This campsite is just ideal for true water lovers! Water plays a central role at Les Bois du Bardelet. You can fish and canoe in the lakes, and there are two outdoor swimming pools. On the lounge beds around the pools, you can enjoy the sun or sit in the shade under a parasol. During the early and late seasons, you can go to the indoor pool that has a bubble bath for your ultimate relaxation. The very young can enjoy themselves at the water playground, which is covered and heated.

Activities and entertainment

In July and August, the campsite has an extensive entertainment programme. The Dutch entertainment team organises activities for children from 4 up to 6 years of age and for children from 7 up to 12 years of age. The activities range from doing crafts and playing games to workshops and pony riding. In the evenings, there are performances on the bar’s terrace on a regular basis. Furthermore, there is a mini disco where the very young can dance with the campsite’s mascot.
