Lake Trasimeno, or Lago di Trasimeno, is the largest lake in Central and Southern Italy. The third biggest lake of Italy, Trasimeno is situated in the north of Umbria, nearby the border with Tuscany. Campsite Punta Navaccia lies alongside lake Trasimeno, at the height of Perugia. This area is also called the green heart of Italy. With its charming country side, rolling hills, and historical cities all within reach, it is a fantastic holiday destination. The campsite is highly suitable for a vacation with teenagers. Punta Navaccia lies directly at the Trasimeno lake. Here you find various beaches, landing stages, and floating platforms. There is also a small harbour with 200 anchoring places. Just outside the campsite there is a sand beach from where you can do water sports, and several restaurants and bars. The campsite has a small shop, a cosy bar, a restaurant, a large amphitheatre for (evening) performances, a playground, diverse sports facilities, and a children’s park! Furthermore, the campsite’s wifi-facility is 100% free of charge, and dogs are most welcome and also free of charge!.

Suitable for teenagers     

Will you be going on holiday with teenagers? Then campsite Punta Navaccia is the perfect choice. All throughout the region, there are multiple opportunities for them to enjoy themselves. On the lake they can do all sorts of water sports, while at the beach just outside the campsite, there is a meeting place for young people. Here, there is also an indoor discotheque where they can dance. The discotheque does not cause noise hindrance. In addition, the campsite’s international entertainment team organises many activities.

Villatents at Punta Navaccia

Punta Navaccia has two fully decorated Villatents Nomad that can accommodate a maximum of six persons. The tents have their own sanitary facilities, and are positioned in spacious areas where there is sufficient room to relax in your hammock outside. The tents have a fan that provides extra cooling during the hot days. Are you going on holiday with teenagers who no longer want to sleep in the tent with you? Then you can add a two-person side-tent for free. .

Activities and entertainment

Campsite Punta Navaccia is a family camping facility where there is something to do for people of all ages. An active entertainment team residing at the campsite organises lots of fun activities. The best-known activity is the weekly dragon boat race. Two teams in dragon boats go around the island and compete for the title! Furthermore, sports tournaments are held, and there are evening performances in the Amphitheatre. During the day, you can do water sports, such as water skiing, surfing, and canoeing.
