Beautifully located at the Costa Brava, you find 4-star campsite Nautic Almata. Situated nearby the sea and alongside the Fluvià river, you can fully experience nature here! Both young and old can enjoy themselves in the swimming pool, by the sea, on or in the water, with the entertainment team or in the cosy (beach) bars and restaurants. As the canals of the Fluvià river run through the entire campsite area, Nautic Almata can also be reached by boat. You can reserve an anchorage place at the port via the campsite’s reception. Campsite Nautic Almata is situated within the nature park Parque Natural de los Aiguamolls de l’Empordà nearby the beach of Castelló d’Empuries. When arriving at the campsite, you will be welcomed by the friendly and enthusiastic staff. At the reception, you can check in and out and arrange all kinds of activities, such as booking excursions or sports events, or hiring cars or bicycles. At the centre of the campsite, there are a shop, a boutique, a pizzeria, a pancake place and a laundrette. There are also various sports facilities, from table tennis to water sports possibilities.

Villatents at Nautic Almata

As from the spring of 2019, there will be four Villatent Wood (VL1 - VL4) tents available at Campsite Nautic Almata. These tents are five metres long and fully equipped for a maximum of five persons. Although the tents do not have sanitary facilities, they have running (cold) water in the kitchen. Very convenient if you want to wash your hands or brush your teeth in the tent. The sanitary building with hot showers, toilets and sanitary facilities for children, is at walking distance. The tents have a fan that provides extra cooling during the hot days.

Swimming pool, beach, and discotheque

The swimming pool perfectly fits Nautic Almata’s natural surroundings. You can take a refreshing dive in the pleasant pool water, enjoy the open-air jacuzzi, or relax in the hammocks. In the pool bar, nice drinks are served. Naturally, you can also go to the sea for a swim or make a walk on the 3.5 kilometres long sand beach. During the day, you can have drinks and a nice meal at the Playa beach bar. In the evenings, this bar is converted into an open-air discotheque and a cocktail bar with a beautiful view on the bay of Roses! The discotheque is situated just outside the campsite and does not cause any noise disturbance.

Activities and entertainment

During the high season, a professional entertainment team organises fun activities for both young and old. For adults, there are all kinds of sports activities, and in the evenings, you can attend dance lessons, listen to live music, or see a show at the restaurant’s stage, for example, a magic performance. And the children can enjoy themselves for hours on end at the Almata Mini Club. Here lots of activities are organised, from make-up, making pottery, and cooking workshops, to dancing in the mini disco.
