Between the Burgundian Maestricht and the old marl town of Valkenburg, you find Campsite ’t Geuldal. A family camping beautifully situated in the middle of a woody area and surrounded by the river the Geul. It has much to offer, both in terms of rest and in terms of activity. So while the children are enjoying themselves on the bouncing cushion, at the playground, or with the entertainment team, you can finally retreat to you spacious Villatent terrace and read that book you had lying on the shelf for so long. Apart from relaxation, the Geuldal region is also the perfect place for active people who love cycling and mountain biking.
Campsite ’t Geuldal is a medium-sized camping facility with about 200 spaces. At the entrance, you find the reception, a pizza-snack bar, an indoor playground with a bar, and the large playing ground. In addition, there is a children’s farm with chickens, rabbits, pygmy goats, and donkeys. In the high season, the children can help in taking care of the animals. And at the playground, they can enjoy themselves for hours on the climbing tower, the air trampoline, or in the large sand pit with jungle gym equipment. Furthermore, there are various go-karts and bicycles of all sizes ready for use.
For breakfast there is a bread service. Each day, you can order fresh buns for the following morning via your personal app. This app also provides information about the campsite and allows you to make your own Geuldal-selfie! Wifi is available throughout the whole campsite area, although in busy periods the connection can be a bit slower due to its location (in the woods).
‘t Geuldal has four Villatent Luxe with sanitary XL tents. The tents are positioned next to one another opposite the (regular) campers. The tents can accommodate a maximum of six persons and are fully decorated. Next to the tents, there is space to park your car. And both at the campsite and in our Villatents dogs are welcome!
There is no swimming pool at the campsite, but at a five minutes cycling distance you will find the outdoor swimming pool of Meerssen. Entrance tickets cost 5 euros per person and are available at the campsite’s reception. The pool’s opening hours depend on the weather. You can find the updates at https://zwembadmeerssen.nl/
During the high season and in the school vacations, there is an entertainment team staying at the campsite. Each day, the team organises fun activities for the children, such as doing crafts, football, dancing, and games. There is a new theme every week. Furthermore, during the summer holidays, cave tours are arranged on a weekly basis. Under supervision of a guide, you will explore the merl mines in the Geul valley.
