Ecological 4-star campsite in the Jura Mountains
Camping La Roche d’Ully is idyllically located in the heart of the Jura Mountains in eastern France, near the charming historic town of Ornans, also known as the little Venice of Comté. This ecological four-star campsite is part of Kids Campings, meaning there is special attention for families with children. La Roche d’Ully is actively committed to the environment and is recognized as a bird sanctuary by the French Bird Protection Society (LPO). On the campsite, you’ll find a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily during the high season, as well as a small shop at the reception where you can buy essentials. You can also rent various sports equipment, such as table tennis and badminton rackets, archery gear, fishing rods, giant Mikado, or mountain bikes. For sports enthusiasts, there is an extensive outdoor sports area available, complete with fitness equipment. The campsite also features an educational vegetable garden where you can discover organic ways of exploring what nature provides, without using chemicals.
- Free access to Nautiloue water park: Located next to the campsite (within walking distance), you have access to the Nautiloue water park. Enjoy endless water fun with two indoor and outdoor pools, a pentagliss slide, and relaxation areas such as a sauna, hammam, and jacuzzi. Note, swim shorts are not allowed.
- Animation especially for children: During the high season, a multilingual animation team ensures an unforgettable vacation with activities in the mini-club, treasure hunts, archery, jumping on trampolines, and exploring the Alesia acrobatic park.

Camping La Roche d'Ully, located just 1.5 kilometers from charming Ornans, is the ideal destination for families. Ornans, the birthplace of painter Gustave Courbet, welcomes you with picturesque streets, the inspiring Courbet Museum, and the beautiful Loue River, perfect for a relaxing walk or a picnic by the water.
The surrounding Vallée de la Loue offers plenty of adventurous activities for the whole family. Hike or bike along well-marked trails, go canoeing on the calm waters, or try fishing in the clear rivers. For young adventurers, there is a special treetop adventure park with safe courses.
A visit to Parc Dino-Zoo, just 12 kilometers from the campsite, is a must for children. This unique park brings prehistory to life with life-sized dinosaurs and interactive exhibits. Families can also take a trip to the historic city of Besançon, where both adults and children can enjoy museums and a beautiful zoo.

Low season: 8:30 am – 10:30 am and 4:30 pm – 7:00 pm
High season: 8:30 am – 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Are you expecting to arrive after 7:00 pm? Please contact the reception directly before 7:00 pm via +33 81 57 17 79. If you arrive after closing time, a letter will be waiting for you on the reception door with a map and clear instructions.
Restaurant
The restaurant, breakfast service, fresh bread and the grocery shop are open daily throughout the season.
The pizza service and pool snack bar are open in July and August.
Swimming pools
Open from June to mid-September 2026.
Entertainment
Entertainment is available in July and August.

Camping La Roche d'Ully is located in Ornans, in the beautiful natural area of the Jura Mountains in France. The campsite is easily accessible by car.
The campsite is close to the A36 and N57, which provide direct access to major cities and main roads in the region. From Utrecht, it is about 800 km, with a travel time of around 8.5 hours, depending on traffic and the route.
