Camping Rosselba Le Palme is a green family campsite on the beautiful island of Elba, near Portoferraio. Located in Località Ottone, the campsite is surrounded by Mediterranean nature and a special botanical garden of about two hectares. This gives it a unique, tropical atmosphere with plenty of shade and greenery. On the campsite you will find a restaurant/pizzeria, bars and a mini market where you can buy fresh bread rolls and daily groceries. For sports and relaxation, there are various facilities and entertainment in high season for the whole family. The pebble beach is a short distance away and you can reach the lively port town of Portoferraio in about ten minutes' drive. The area surrounding the campsite is also very beautiful, with green hills, charming villages and beautiful beaches that make the island of Elba so special.

The campsite is about 9 km from Portoferraio, the largest town on the island with a pleasant harbour, shops, restaurants and supermarkets. For daily shopping you can go to the small shop on the campsite, but there are also supermarkets about 10-15 minutes' drive away in and around Portoferraio. The nearest beach Spiaggia dell'Ottone is about 400-500 metres from the campsite, making it easy to walk to the sea for a day of swimming or snorkelling.
The area around the campsite is ideal for exploring the island. You will find beautiful beaches, small harbour villages and historical sites such as Napoleon's residences and the medieval Castello del Volterraio. Nature lovers and sports enthusiasts are also catered for with activities such as hiking, snorkelling, mountain biking and boat trips along the coast.

From many places in Europe, Piombino is easily reached by car via the main highways through France, Switzerland, Austria or northern Italy. Piombino is the departure port for ferries to the island of Elba. From here you take the ferry to Portoferraio, the main port of Elba. The crossing takes about one hour. From Portoferraio it is approximately a 20-minute drive (about 10 km) to the campsite.
