Vibrant Italian Campsite, Directly at Lake Trasimeno
Camping Punta Navaccia is a lively Italian campsite beautifully located on Lake Trasimeno, between Umbria and Tuscany. From your Villatent, you can enjoy stunning views of the lake and the surrounding green hills. The campsite features two swimming pools (one for adults and one for children) and a jacuzzi. Sports enthusiasts can make use of the tennis and basketball courts, mini football field and table tennis. During high season, the international entertainment team organises plenty of fun with sports tournaments, aqua aerobics, hiking trips and evening shows in the amphitheatre. For children, there’s a mini club, playground and adventure park, while teenagers can join in various sports activities. Facilities such as a bar, supermarket and a solarium with jazz music make your stay complete. Moreover, historic towns and nature reserves are within easy reach.

Camping Punta Navaccia is located directly on the beautiful Lake Trasimeno, one of the largest lakes in Italy. Perfect for swimming, canoeing, and relaxing by the water. Surrounded by the green hills of Umbria, the heart of Italy, rich history, and beautiful nature, this is an ideal place for families.
The charming village of Tuoro sul Trasimeno is close to the campsite. Here you can shop and also discover the famous battle between the Romans and Carthaginians from 217 BC. You can follow a special route along the various stages of this historical event.
Camping Punta Navaccia has a central location, making it easy to visit well-known cities such as Perugia (30 km), Spello (60 km), Assisi (60 km), Florence (130 km), Siena (80 km), and Arezzo (60 km). These cities are full of culture, art, and delicious food.
For an active day, you can explore the hiking and cycling routes in the area. There are also enjoyable tours where you can taste local wines and olive oil. A must-do is a boat trip across Lake Trasimeno to the island of Isola Maggiore. From the campsite, you can board the boat and discover the charm of this special island, where time seems to stand still.
Public transport and the ferry to the islands are located right next to the campsite.
The campground is open from March 15 to November 3, 2025.
Reception is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. in low season and 8 a.m. to midnight on weekends, and 8 a.m. to midnight in high season.
Arrivals after midnight are not allowed in the low and high season to avoid car traffic and noise during the night and to ensure guests' peace and quiet.
The bar/restaurant and mini-market are open from April 1 to September 30.
The international animation team operates from July 1 to September 4 and the pools are open from May 1 to September 30.
- You do not have to pay tourist tax at Punta Navaccia.
- The cleaning costs must be paid on site in Punta Navaccia and are not included in the booking. The cleaning costs amount to 40 €.
- Bed linen can only be booked on site.
- A towel package is available for a fee at reception.
- Swimming caps are compulsory at the pool.
- Barbecues are not permitted. There are communal barbecue areas.
You can check in at Punta Navaccia from 16:00. On the day of departure you must check out by 10:00 am.
Camping Punta Navaccia is located in Tuoro sul Trasimeno, directly on Lake Trasimeno. The campsite can be reached both by car and by plane.
By car
The campsite is easy to reach via the A1, also known as the Autostrada del Sole. Follow the route towards Florence and then towards Perugia. The Italian highways are well maintained and offer a comfortable journey through the beautiful Umbrian countryside with views of Lake Trasimeno.
Flying
If you prefer to fly, fly via Perugia Airport (Aeroporto dell'Umbria). This airport is only 40 km from the campsite, which is about a 30-minute drive. From here you can continue your journey to the campsite by rental car or cab.
