Family holiday on Italy’s Adriatic Riviera: large pool complex, treetop adventure park and private beach with shuttle service
At the 4-star Spina Family Collection campsite, you’ll enjoy a complete family holiday on the Adriatic Riviera, on Italy’s east coast. The large pool complex guarantees hours of fun in the water: swim laps in the semi-Olympic pool, let the little ones splash in the toddler pool, and watch teenagers race down the water slides. Even better, the pool also features hydro-massage loungers and a massage wall for a soothing water massage.
In peak season, the animation team makes every day even more enjoyable with games, sports tournaments and evening entertainment the whole family can join. Want to stay active yourself? Head to the sports fields, tennis courts and basketball court.
What truly makes Spina Family Collection special is its very own adventure park with a treetop climbing course right on the campsite. Up in the trees, you can take on challenging routes reaching up to 15 metres high, highly recommended for families looking for a bit more excitement and action. And when it’s time to eat or drink, there’s no need to leave the campsite: choose from restaurants and bars for a pizza night or a cappuccino, and pick up your daily essentials at the on-site supermarket.

Surroundings
Camping Spina Family Collection is located in Lido di Spina, on the Adriatic coast in the province of Ferrara (Emilia-Romagna), right next to the beautiful Po Delta area. Here you stay among pine trees and close to water and nature, making it easy to switch between beach days, relaxing and heading out to explore. From the campsite, you can walk to the beach via a small woodland path (approx. 1 km). For everyday essentials there’s a mini supermarket on site, and you’ll find more shops and boutiques in the village of Lido di Spina about 2 km away. Larger supermarkets and other facilities are available in nearby Comacchio (around a 10-minute drive), a charming lagoon town often called the region’s “Little Venice”.
There’s plenty to do nearby when it comes to nature, sport and culture. Water sports fans can head to the wide beach for activities such as swimming, beach volleyball and windsurfing, while the surrounding Po Delta lagoons are perfect for cycling and boat trips. Tip: visit the Cervia salt pans and spot wild flamingos in the Po Delta Park.
The region offers a rich mix of culture, sport and nature. Ravenna—famous for its stunning Byzantine mosaics—is about a 30-minute drive away (30 km) and offers lively squares, cafés and UNESCO World Heritage sites. A little further afield are other cultural cities such as Ferrara and even Venice, which you can reach by car in around one hour and two hours.
