Holiday Park de Bronzen Emmer is beautifully hidden in the heart of Drenthe, surrounded by green forests, heathland and picturesque villages. Directly from the park, you can embark on an adventure: explore nature on foot, by bike or on horseback. Discover the dolmens, old villages like Meppen, Gees and Oud Aalden, and enjoy the peace and quiet of the sheep herds.
For the adventurous types, we have great MTB routes, such as the 33-kilometre route around Sleenerzand, just 6 kilometres from the park. Fancy a day out? Visit Wildlands Adventure Zoo or explore the monument village of Orvelte. The cities of Coevorden, Emmen and Assen are close by for a day of shopping and cultural trips.
For your daily shopping, you can go to the nearby supermarkets in the surrounding villages.

Restaurant open:
- The restaurant is open during the May holidays, Ascension Day, Pentecost, and the summer holidays from July to August.
- Fresh bread rolls can be ordered daily from April to October.
Swimming pool:
The swimming pool is open from April 17 to September 28, 2026.
Entertainment:
Entertainment is provided from April 25 to May 3, 2026, as well as during the Ascension Day, Pentecost, and summer holidays.
- Please note that tourist tax must be paid locally. Tourist tax is €1.45 p.p.p.n.
- Dogs are not allowed in all Villatents. There is a special Villatent available for this.

Holiday Park de Bronzen Emmer is centrally located in Drenthe. The best way to travel to the holiday resort is by car. Thanks to the nearby A28 and A37 motorways, the holiday resort is easily accessible from different directions.
From Utrecht, it is about 130 kilometres to the Bronzen Emmer, which amounts to a travel time of about 1 hour and 30 minutes by car.
