Surroundings
Camping Terme ฤateลพ is an ideal destination for a family vacation, offering numerous opportunities to explore the stunning surroundings. The campsite is located near the Sava River, just 5 km away, making it perfect for relaxing walks or adventurous water activities.
A few kilometers from the campsite are charming towns like ฤateลพ ob Savi (3 km) and Breลพice (5 km), where you can enjoy local restaurants and historical landmarks. A highlight is the Breลพice Castle, surrounded by beautiful gardens and steeped in rich history. For a fairytale experience, visit the impressive Bizeljsko Castle, a 13th-century fortress surrounded by vineyards, ideal for a nature and culture-filled day trip.
For day trips, both Zagreb and Ljubljana are easily accessible. Zagreb (Croatia) is just 38 km away and offers a blend of historical charm and modern flair, with markets, restaurants, and iconic landmarks such as St. Mark's Church. Ljubljana, about an hour's drive away, enchants visitors with its medieval castle, stunning architecture, and vibrant cultural scene.
Additionally, the area around Terme ฤateลพ offers plenty of hiking and biking opportunities. The nearby Gorjanci Mountains are perfect for active vacations, and who knows, you might encounter the legendary dwarf ฤateลพ, who, according to folklore, discovered healing water springs in the area.
The campsite is open all year round, from 1 January until 31 December.
The reception desk is open 24 hours a day. Check-in is possible between 8:00 am and 10:00 pm.
The Winter Thermal Riviera (indoor swimming pool complex) is open all year round from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.
The Summer Thermal Riviera (outdoor swimming pool complex) usually opens during the last weekend of April. In April and May, facilities are limited, as not all pools and attractions are available. From the beginning of June, the outdoor complex is generally fully operational. Exact dates depend on external conditions.
The animation team is active throughout the year, offering daily activities. During school holidays and high season, a wider activity programme is available.
Different seasonal opening hours apply to other facilities such as restaurants, entertainment and the supermarket.
- Please note, tourist tax must be paid on site. Tourist tax is โฌ2.50 p.p.p.n.
- Please note, registration fee to be paid on site. The registration fee is โฌ1.50 per person over 6 years old per stay.
- Upon arrival at the campsite, a โฌ100 deposit is required.
- Bed linen and towels are included as standard with your stay at Terme Catez.
- During the summer period, you have access to the aqua park up to twice a day.
At Terme ฤateลพ, check-in is available from 4:00 PM. On the day of departure, you must check out by 10:00 AM.
Terme ฤateลพ is located in Slovenia, near the Croatian border. This camping resort is easily accessible by both car and plane.
By Car
Terme ฤateลพ is conveniently situated along the A2 highway, which connects Ljubljana and Zagreb. From Utrecht, the distance is approximately 1,300 km, with a driving time of around 14 hours. The route passes through Germany and Austria before entering Slovenia.
By Plane
There are two airports to consider:
- Ljubljana Airport (Joลพe Puฤnik)**: This airport is about 130 km from Terme ฤateลพ. By car, the drive takes around 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- Zagreb Airport (Franjo Tuฤman)**: Located closer, this airport is just 40 km from Terme ฤateลพ but is across the border in Croatia. From Zagreb, the drive to the camping resort takes only 30 to 40 minutes.
Both airports offer good connections to the camping site.
