For relaxation, you can visit the wellness center. There are also plenty of sports opportunities. To discover Slovenian cuisine, you can simply stay at the camping resort, as there are several restaurants to enjoy a meal. Additionally, Terme Čatež is surrounded by beautiful nature.

Camping Terme Čatež is an ideal destination for a family vacation, offering numerous opportunities to explore the stunning surroundings. The campsite is located near the Sava River, just 5 km away, making it perfect for relaxing walks or adventurous water activities.
A few kilometers from the campsite are charming towns like Čatež ob Savi (3 km) and Brežice (5 km), where you can enjoy local restaurants and historical landmarks. A highlight is the Brežice Castle, surrounded by beautiful gardens and steeped in rich history. For a fairytale experience, visit the impressive Bizeljsko Castle, a 13th-century fortress surrounded by vineyards, ideal for a nature and culture-filled day trip.
For day trips, both Zagreb and Ljubljana are easily accessible. Zagreb (Croatia) is just 38 km away and offers a blend of historical charm and modern flair, with markets, restaurants, and iconic landmarks such as St. Mark's Church. Ljubljana, about an hour's drive away, enchants visitors with its medieval castle, stunning architecture, and vibrant cultural scene.
Additionally, the area around Terme Čatež offers plenty of hiking and biking opportunities. The nearby Gorjanci Mountains are perfect for active vacations, and who knows, you might encounter the legendary dwarf Čatež, who, according to folklore, discovered healing water springs in the area.

Reception is open 24/7, all days in the year.
Guests can check-in at any time, any day.
Main supermarket and restaurants are open all year. Restaurant inside the campsite and also supermarket at the reception is only open in high season. Restaurants that are part of outside pools are also closed, when the outside pools are closed.
Animation team is operational all year, every day. Of course, there are more activities during holidays and high season.
Swimming Pool
- Low season (April): The triple slides and the snack bar are open from 10 a.m to 6 p.m
- Low season (May): Opening of the two swimming pools.
- Low season (June): Opening of the remaining pools and attractions of the Summer Thermal Riviera, except for the slides at the Pirate Bay.
- High season from June 21: Opening of the slides at the Pirate Bay.
- Please note, tourist tax must be paid on site. Tourist tax is €2.50 p.p.p.n.
- Please note, registration fee to be paid on site. The registration fee is €1.50 per person over 6 years old per stay.
- Bed linen and towels are included as standard with your stay at Terme Catez.
- During the summer period, you have access to the aqua park up to twice a day.
At Terme Čatež, check-in is available from 4:00 PM. On the day of departure, you must check out by 10:00 AM.
Terme Čatež is located in Slovenia, near the Croatian border. This camping resort is easily accessible by both car and plane.
By Car
Terme Čatež is conveniently situated along the A2 highway, which connects Ljubljana and Zagreb. From Utrecht, the distance is approximately 1,300 km, with a driving time of around 14 hours. The route passes through Germany and Austria before entering Slovenia.
By Plane
There are two airports to consider:
- Ljubljana Airport (Jože Pučnik)**: This airport is about 130 km from Terme Čatež. By car, the drive takes around 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- Zagreb Airport (Franjo Tuđman)**: Located closer, this airport is just 40 km from Terme Čatež but is across the border in Croatia. From Zagreb, the drive to the camping resort takes only 30 to 40 minutes.
Both airports offer good connections to the camping site.
