Glamping in the Alps

The French Alps are a dream spot for those who love nature, mountains and being outdoors. During glamping in France you will experience this impressive region in a relaxed way, surrounded by nature but with the comfort of a fully equipped fully equipped safari tent. From your Villatent, you are surrounded by high peaks, green valleys and clear blue mountain lakes. There is plenty to do in the French Alps during the day.

For example, go hiking in the Vanoise National Park, cycle along the mountains around Lac d'Annecy or take a refreshing dip in this clear lake, known as one of the cleanest lakes in Europe. A visit to charming mountain villages such as Samoëns, Chamonix or Annecy is also not to be missed. Here you can stroll through atmospheric streets, sample local specialities such as raclette and tartiflette and enjoy the views of the surrounding mountains. Glamping in the French Alps is therefore the perfect combination of adventure, relaxation and comfort for the whole family.

The best period for a glamping holiday in the French Alps is from June to September. During these months, temperatures are pleasant and you can fully enjoy hiking, swimming and outdoor activities. Both Camping Le Coin Tranquille and Camping de Vaubarlet are ideal for a relaxing holiday in the middle of nature during this period.

Yes, the French Alps are an ideal destination for a family holiday. At Camping Le Coin Tranquille in Isère, for example, you will find several swimming pools, including a heated outdoor pool and an indoor pool with whirlpool and paddling pool. There is also a kids' club and sports fields where children can quickly make new holiday friends.

Camping de Vaubarlet in Auvergne is also great for families. Here there is a mini-club, a playground and an animation team in high season. In addition, the small river La Dunière flows past the campsite, where children can play, build dams or paddle.

Only at Camping Le Coin Tranquille will you stay in a safari tent with private sanitary facilities. The Villatent Nomad is equipped with a private bathroom in the tent, including toilet, shower and washbasin. So you can combine the outdoor life of camping with the comfort of your own sanitary facilities.
